The Effect of Bile Acids on Growth Performance of Weaned Piglets
The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of bile acids supplementation on growth performance of weaned piglets.
1 Experiment time and place
Experiment place:Lambers, belgium
Experiment time: 22nd, June, 2017 - 1st, August, 2017, on July 6th to sampling and measuring.
2 Experiment animals
The experiment choose 343“Landrace” weaned piglets with 21 days old, divided into control group and experimental group, control group 115 pigs and 4 repeats; experimental group 228 pigs and 8 repeats.
3 Feeding management
Piglets were fed in a nursery with adjustable spray temperature. The experiment lasted for 21 to 61 days, free intake and free drinking water. 4 control group was fed basal diet and 8 experimental group add 500 g/t Runeon( 30% bile acids, Shandong Longchang Animal Health Products Co. Ltd.).
4 Measurement index
Initial weight; end weight; daily gain; feed intake
5 Statistical analysis
All reaction variables data were analyzed by ANOVA in general linear model of SAS, and the groups differences were processed by Duncan multiple comparison. The significance analysis was based on 0.05 probability.
6 Experiment result
7 Conclusion
The results showed that: bile acid can significantly improve piglet growth performance, increase daily gain, reduce FCR, while increasing feed intake, weaned piglet diet recommended 500g / t Runeon.
