Feedback of Ecuadorian shrimp farmer
The experiment of bile acids on shrimp growth performance
Cultivation area: 50 hectares
Annual production: 450,000 pounds / year
Experimental pond: P4 is the control group, P1 is the experimental group
Test product: Organic acids DP4000 in P4, Runeon II 80% bile acids in P1
Usage plan: 3 kg / t for the first 45 days, 1 kg / t for the next 45 days
Start the test at the end of December
Applies from PL12
19 days: Data from January 27: P4 = 3.25g P1 = 2.94g
25 days: data from February 3: P4 = 4.65g P1 = 4.50g
At approximately 6 g, the weight of the experimental group began to exceed that of the control group.
65 days: data from March 15: P4 = 11.5 g P1 = 12.6 g
75 days: data from March 24: P4 = 12.9g P1 = 14.2g
Conclusion: It is estimated that when shrimp is harvested, the average weight of each shrimp is approximately 1.5 grams higher in the experimental group than in the control group. According to the result, it has been harvested at least 10 days in advance with the weight of 15 grams, better effect than organic acids. With the density of 13 animals per square meter, the production is increased by 200 pounds of shrimp in each hectare. At the same time, it is harvested 15 days earlier and saves on feed costs.
Day 80 data: P1 = 15 grams
